Our Rise

Our Story

Sorcha’s Artisan Bakehouse is an artisan bakehouse which has its origins from 2014 to bring the best artisan bread, baked goods to the country. The company opened its first humble bakehouse just outside Nunthorpe village, Middlesbrough in 2014. Mainly concentrating on the baking of cakes & desserts for Teesside’s best hotels and restaurants. We have since expanded with a new bakehouse on Riverside Park, Middlesbrough, allowing us to expand our range, set up true artisan bread production, whilst maintaining traditional techniques. This has allowed us to expand our wholesale delivery network from Yorkshire to Scotland and to also include the public in the Teesside area and our bakes have even made their way to the sunny shores of Dubai.

Stuart Bond, the company founder and managing director, developed Sorcha’s Artisan Bakehouse in response to what he saw was a lack of truly quality artisan bakehouses in the country. His vision & inspiration for the bakehouse and love for handmade artisan bread & cakes transpired to be something that many within Teesside & across the country have came to share.

Mission

We aim to bring handmade artisan baked goods to the masses. keeping traditional methods alive in the process to pass down to the next generations of bakers.

We bake with the finest ingredients whilst supporting our local producers & suppliers. We take supporting local and regional businesses seriously, as key partnerships is how we've managed to grow.

Vision

We are aiming to be the best Artisan Bakehouse in the country, bringing our range of artisan bakes to the nation. ensuring we keep our standards we are known & respected for.
